The Bullocks Track
Starting from the resort’s doorstep, enjoy walking through the Kosciuszko National Park along the Thredbo River and to the Diggings rest area. Our local guide will share stories and point out remnants of gold digging days, the historic Bullocks Hut and beautiful alpine flora. This is an excellent walk for spotting native animals including the shy platypus. Due to the track’s proximity to Novotel Lake Crackenback resort vehicle access to the trailhead in not necessary, making this an ideal walk for those pressed for time.

Blue Lake Trek Starting from Australia's highest village, Charlotte Pass, cross the Snowy River and trek on to experience the power and beauty of the ancient Blue Lake. Hewn out of granite by colliding rivers of ice, this is Kosciuszko National Park’s deepest glacial lake. The final 800m of trail ascends steadily on a paved trail, albeit the last few hundred metres to Charlotte Pass is sometimes known as heartbreak hill, but it’s worth it.Testimonials from hikers:
A wonderful achievement considering my limited walking experiences why travel overseas when we have this wonder at our doorstep Nerida Williams.
Great fun Janice Johnson
Great day Noel Uhe

Pass to Pass Trek A challenging trek dissecting the Main Range from Charlotte Pass to Dead Horse Gap. Trek through a huge natural amphitheatre of derelict ruins of Australian skiing heritage, climb steep slopes, circumnavigate glacial lakes, bag Australia’s two highest peaks, cross meandering streams, see intriguing granite outcrops and pass through enchanting snow gum forests. Lots to see, lots of up & down and lots of kilometres to cover.Testimonials from hikers:
Wow! Thought we would be sick sore & sorry the next day and although a little weary and heavy the elation of having done something we had always wanted to do dulled my pains. I meet so many personal challenges and faced fears; I succeeded to brag about it and would love to go again. Des & Lynn McGovern

Mt Tate Trek After a 2km ascent the windswept snow gums give way to vast alpine vistas. Cross Consett Stephen Pass, the high point of two watersheds & onto Mt Tate. This area is at the northern end of the Main Range & affords excellent views of Guthega Ski Village, The Rolling Grounds & The Main Range. Descend Tate East Ridge & drop back into the sub alpine. From here the trek follows relics of an old ski tow built by dam workers in the 60’s during the construction of the Snowy Mountains Scheme. This is another trek popular with the guides, graded at moderate expect to find this trek challenging.
